Hispano Aviación

Hispano Aviacion was a Spanish aircraft factory which began production in 1939, after a section of the Hispano-Suiza factory was isolated into a "Nationalist" area during the Spanish Civil War.


Located in Tablada, in the Triana district of Seville, Spain, it produced several models, including the Triana Hispano HA-100, the Saeta Hispano Aviacion Ha 200, the Tripala and the Buchon and Hispano Aviación HA-1112.


This factory was taken over by CASA in 1972.

The Hispano Aviacion HA-1109 and HA-1112 were license-built versions of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 developed in Spain during and after WWII. This aircraft is often swapped in for a ME-109 for films.
